Troubleshooting tips (SurfNet app won't work with VPN enabled?):

One of our suggested VPN apps above is required to be used before following these steps.


Step 1. It's recommended that you restart your SurfNet app before using it AFTER turning on your VPN.

Step 2. If step 1 failed, please restart your VPN app by turning it off and on again, and THEN repeat step 1.

Step 3. If step 2 failed, instead of restarting your VPN app, manually connect to one of our suggested locations listed below in your VPN app, THEN repeat step 1.:

    — United States

    — Germany

    — Canada

    — Australia

    — Netherlands


Following these steps should allow your SurfNet app to work with the VPN that we recommend. If you try these instructions with other VPN apps and they don't work, please consider using one of our recommended VPN apps instead.

Tips for you

— If you've already enabled VPN and the SurfNet app still won't load, try connecting to another region by choosing a region manually from your VPN app or turning your VPN app off then on again.

— We suggest connecting to United States region or any other suggested/working regions stated above via the VPN.

— If you're unfamiliar with a VPN, Google Play has a variety of free VPN apps. Choose the one with the most downloads and positive feedback or you can install what is recommended above.

      Hi, sorry for the inconveniences of the version 7.5. We'd like to let you know that the SurfNet was restored back to what it was. The only official change of v7.5 was the download feature.

    I had more consistancy with the server X than play with Surfnet. Very disappointed.

      Hi, server x was just renamed to Play with SurfNet to avoid confusion with the server test (server test that was already permanently disabled). There were no changes in the actual code.

      I like the old download going straight to my files and I could see what episode of a season without opening the info on the file first. I will stay and support you when this is fixed. Thank you

    The download via Google play option on the website doesn't work, it says that the link was copied and to copy it into a search engine, but it isn't in my clipboard no matter how many time I click it, long pressing just gets me the background image
